Booking Deposit Refunds

✅ Full Refund Available:

  • If cancelled before a mover accepts the job
  • If no mover accepts within 48 hours
  • If you cancel due to mover unavailability

⚠️ Partial Refund May Apply:

  • If cancelled after mover acceptance (depends on timing)
  • If cancelled less than 24 hours before move date

Final Payment Refunds

Final payments are based on actual time worked. Refunds may be available if:

  • Mover fails to complete the job as agreed
  • Significant damage occurs (covered by mover's insurance)
  • Mover arrives significantly late without notice
  • Dispute is resolved in your favor

Refund Process

  1. Request refund through your booking page or contact support
  2. We review your request (typically within 24-48 hours)
  3. If approved, refund is processed to your original payment method
  4. Refunds appear in 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)

Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with a mover:

  • Contact the mover through MOVA messaging first
  • If unresolved, file a dispute through the platform
  • We review evidence from both parties
  • Refunds are issued based on our review

Non-Refundable Items

  • Platform fees (15%) are non-refundable once job is completed
  • Time already worked cannot be refunded
  • Additional services already provided
